The Toughman Westchester Olympic Triathlon – part of the USAT Northeast Region Collegiate Conference – takes place at the scenic Playland Park in Rye, NY. This premier collegiate triathlon challenges student-athletes with a swim, bike, and run course set against the stunning backdrop of Long Island Sound. Competitors will experience an invigorating open-water swim, a scenic bike course through Westchester County, and a rewarding run along the park’s picturesque trails.

SWIM .9 MILES

The Olympic distance swim is 9/10ths of a mile in the calm waters of the Long Island Sound, where water temperature is usually in the low 70’s. Sighting back is easy as the athletes focus on the historic White Towers during the homestretch to shore. Sand in, sand out with no steps or rocks.

BIKE 25 MILES

The 24.6 mile course is equal parts challenging and scenic as it traverses along the border of New York and Connecticut.  Distance: 24.6 miles Elevation: +1359 feet/-1358 feet
