Below you will find details about the course for each leg of the race:
OLYMPIC SWIM
SWIM .9 MILES
The Olympic distance swim is 9/10ths of a mile in the calm waters of the Long Island Sound, where water temperature is usually in the low 70’s. Sighting back is easy as the athletes focus on the historic White Towers during the homestretch to shore. Sand in, sand out with no steps or rocks.

OLYMPIC BIKE
25 MILES
The 24.6 mile course is equal parts challenging and scenic as it traverses along the border of New York and Connecticut.
Distance: 24.6 miles
Elevation: +1359 feet/-1358 feet

OLYMPIC RUN
RUN 6.2 MILES
Proposed Run Course: Reduce impact on local neighborhoods by using boardwalk and trails
TOUGHKIDS Course
Swim Course
4-6 Age Group: 25 Yards
7-10 Age Group: 100 Yards
11-14 Age Group: 200 Yards

Bike Course
4-6 Age Group: 1/2 Loop
7-10 Age Group: 1 Extended Loops
11-14 Age Group: 2 Extended Loops

Run Course
This is the last leg and the most fun for most kids. They will complete their run to the finish line.
